Our Story
Everyone is an angler
Cedarbend Angler Guides started with a simple idea: the Grand River is one of Michigan's great fisheries, and everyone should get to experience it. From our shop at 7120 Headley St. SE in Ada, we guide anglers of every skill level — first-timers holding a fly rod for the first time alongside lifelong anglers chasing their hundredth steelhead.
From our guided trips to our gear shop, we envision a world where everyone is an angler, no matter their skill level, united in the excitement of being on the river.
What we believe
- Fishing is for everyone — instruction stays personal, with one or two anglers per guide.
- Fish stay in the water — catch-photo-release handling on every trip, every species.
- Local water, local knowledge — we fish the Grand all season, from spring smallmouth to winter steelhead.
- Ask us anything — our shop crew answers rigging, fly, and river questions whether you buy or not.
